Hotel de Vischpoorte is situated at a unique location: at the river the IJssel and in the historical centre of hanseatic city of Deventer. The highway A1 is only at a 5 minutes driving distance from the hotel. The hotel is easy accessible by car or train and has its own parking places. Ideal for both business people and tourists.
From the hotel, you are quickly in the city centre or you can discover the beautiful surroundings by foot or bike. The walking and bicycle routes are practically passing the hotel.
The hotel rooms are very clean, nice decorated and very spacious. They all have own bathrooms with shower or bathtub. The rooms are overlooking the river the IJssel completely or partially. The hotel has internet managed television in most of the rooms so that you have a wide choice of foreign TV channels. In all rooms you can make free use of the WIFI connection. There are also coffee (Nespresso) and tea making machines with all belongings on each room.
The 2 bed and breakfast´s are about 300 meter away from the main building of Hotel de Vischpoorte. They are very suitable for short- and longstay. They are completely equipped.

All rooms are different. The main difference is the variation in size and view. They all have a living room, bed- and bathroom and kitchen or kitchenette. The biggest room/apartment is 110M2, the smallest 35 M2. You can choose a view on the river, city, street or tower.
The biggest rooms are suitable for 1 - 5 guests, the smallest from 1 - 2 guests. These rooms are also suitable for small meetings (up to ca 6 persons).

The Hotel de Vischpoorte is located at the river Ijssel.
Arriving by car
Deventer is situated at the highway between Osnabruck/Hengelo and Amsterdam. Or from Oberhausen/Arnhem to Zwolle via the highway A50 and the A1. On the Highway A1, take the exit to Deventer and follow the signs to the City Centre. You will enter the centre parallel to the river the IJssel. Our hotel is close to the Parking place Nieuwe Markt and Grote Kerkhof.
Arriving by public transportation
From central station it takes a 10 minutes walk to our hotel through the city centre. You can follow the signs to the square Grote Kerkhof.
