Arriving by car
FROM THE SOUTH * Follow the A1 (M) past the MOTO Services, take the A194 (M) towards the Tyne Tunnel. * Take the exit for Washington A195. * At the top of the slip road, take the last exit off the roundabout (A195 Northumberland way). * Go along this road turning right at the mini roundabout. The George Washington Hotel is at the top of this road on the right hand side. FROM THE NORTH (A19) * Through the Tyne Tunnel on the main A19, turn right at the roundabout onto the A184. * Take the exit signposted A194 (M). * At the bottom of the slip road take the first exit off the roundabout onto the A194 (M). * Take the first exit A195 off the motorway to Washington. * At the end of the slip road take the second exit off the roundabout towards A195 Northumberland way. * Go along this road turning right at the mini roundabout and the George Washington Hotel is at the top on the right side. FROM THE NORTH & WEST A1(M) Metrocentre/Team Valley Trading Estate * Travelling along the A1 past the Angel of the North leave the exit where the A1 becomes the A1 (M) signposted Non Motorway Traffic leave this exit * Follow this slip road until you come to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit A194 (M). * Follow this road to roundabout take 1st exit towards A194/Tyne Tunnel * From the A194 (M) take the first exit signposted A195 Washington North/Felling. * At the top of the slip road turn right onto the A195 towards Washington. * At your first mini roundabout turn right. * The Hotel is at the top of the road on the right hand side.
