Hotel Gruenwald is located on the outskirts of Ansbach. Sights in the center can be easily reached by bus. Ideal starting point for trips to Nuremberg, Wuerzburg and Rothenburg.
Hotel Gruenwald is located on the western edge of Ansbach, next to the forest, and was renovated according to building biology criteria. Seminars and meetings are welcome. Free parking is available.

Our charming hilltop retreat offers fresh air, calming interiors and hypoallergenic furnishings. We strive to use organic and locally produced foods for our sumptuous breakfast buffet and in our restaurant. Most members of staff are fluent in English. Only non-smoking-rooms.

Arriving by car
Leave the Autbahn A 6 at exit Herrieden, go to and through Elpersdorf, cross B 14 to Geisengrund, go straight ahead all the time, leave Geisengrund, go straight ahead again until you reach the Sparkasse in Schalkhausen. Turn to the left, then to the right again (Sonnenstraße). Follow the signs to the hotel even if it looks as if you will end up in the forrest!
Arriving by public transportation
Leave the station with bus Nr 751; get out at Bocksbergsiedlung West. Walk in the direction the bus drives, then turn to the right and follow the signs to the hotel (appr. 200 m, at the end up the hill).
