Arriving by car

Located on the water edge overlooking Cleveland Bay Townsville is situated on the North Queensland coast on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Townsville is built around Cleveland bay, adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea. Magnetic Island (a Suburb of Townsville) is only 10km north by ferry. Jupiters Townsville Hotel and Casino is located directly on Cleveland Bay, and next to Townsville Mariner, which is 1km from the city center. The dominating geographical feature of Townsville is Castle hill, which can be seen when entering the city by air, road pr water. The Strand/beach, City Center, Mariner and the Townsville Shopping Mall are all located around Castle Hill, and Jupiters Townsville is 1km from the base of the Hill. Jupiters Twonsville Hotel and Casino is constructed so one side of the complex faces North to the Ocean & Magnetic Island, and the other side faces South to the Townsville Mariner & City Center. The Hotel is built so all rooms have water views (either Marina or Ocean), and Hotel Suites (located at either end of the Hotel) have views of both the Marina and the Ocean.
